So im looking at this. Any common issues with BMW AWD? does it break? The new headlight worries me.

NP. 3k is NOTHING compared what you can sell the parts for.

in regards to the AWD, i dont think it should be too much of an issue, but if it goes wrong, its a pain.
i remember i was in a local shop once getting my moms IS back, and one of these came in because the front diff blew. i think it was 2100$ CAD

Are you sure that's a new headlight, it looks like it could just be that moisture has gotten into the unit on the left and the cold has made this mist over.

not sure. I can go check it out. I was thinking of offering $2000 because of the messed up front bumper and paint.

Think of how much you will have to spend to get it up to your own standard and then offer according to your budget, but don't be surprised if he doesn't want to shift much.

I would not. High mileage and it looks really neglected. Those are both BMW killers.
